    Dahlbäck AAN 390HP kit

Max. power 390 hp (287 kW)
    Max. torque 368 lb-ft
Changes: New E-proms in ECU, turbo, Sport Quattro exhaust manifold, camshafts, porting of cylinder head, high flow air filter, stainless steel exhaust (turbo-back).

    1. Those changes cant be all!!?? What changes must be done to get 390HP from AAN/ABY?
    2. Will clutch handle that? As I understand rods can handle 600nm maximum, so there wouldnt be that problem.
    3. What is the best turbo to achieve about 390-400hp (and maybe cheapest)? At the beginning I thought Im gonna use GT3071 but now a few mates have said that its too expensive and there isnt much to benefit from K26/T04.
    4. Where do you suggest to do head porting?
    5. What cams do you recommend?

    Many thanks!

    1: at dalbäck yes
2: cluch will starting sliping at 330hk
3: you can reach 390hk with a rs2turbo, but i would go for a garret dual bb.
4: yes if youare going for more than 400hp
5: i used rs2 exhaust cam up to 420, now i am using 7a cams

but i would also go for new rods and a coplet balance of the cranck.

They've missed out an uprated intercooler!! You'll need an uprated intercooler for an ABY but especially on an AAN S4/S6. They're absolutely rubbish and you'll struggle to get 300bhp before the inlet temps get too high.
Lots recommend a K26/27 for this sort of power. It maybe slightly old school but it's tried and tested and is bullet proof! This turbo will also give you lots more bhp with other mods so you won't be pushing it to it's limit with 400bhp. I don't think the RS2 turbo will quite get you to 390/400bhp. If you push it your looking at around 370/380bhp. I'd recommend talking to a few specialists that have BTDT. I'd personally recommend MRC but I'm sure there are others!!

The RS2 intercooler will fit behind an S2 bumper. So will custom jobbies. You will need to modify your crossmember though.

Standard injectors are maxed out at 330 I think.
